At the intersection of Elliott Ave. and Vine St., there is a community garden: the Belltown P-Patch. I stumbled upon it randomly when I was killing time before a dinner reservation. The garden has beautiful mosaics on the walls, a solar powered water fountain along the sidewalk, even tiling on the stairs depicting the chemical reaction of photosynthesis. The garden flowers are fragrant and in full bloom. It’s a lovely half-block in the middle of the city. I suppose the garden is not particularly notable, but I write about it on account of the serendipity of the discovery.
